At Flatirons Audiology, we’re committed to making your hearing care as simple and stress-free as possible. On this page, you’ll find helpful information about the insurance plans we accept, our billing process, and the types of payments we receive.
Insurance
Flatirons Audiology is pleased to accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare. To avoid any surprises, we recommend that you contact your insurance provider before your appointment to confirm whether our office is in-network for your specific plan. It’s also helpful to check if your policy requires a referral from your Primary Care Physician (PCP).
As a courtesy, we will submit insurance claims on your behalf for any services that may be eligible for coverage. Please note that coverage is not guaranteed, and patients are ultimately responsible for understanding their benefits. For questions about copayments, deductibles, or covered services, we encourage you to reach out directly to your insurance provider.
For Medicare Patients:
If you have a secondary insurance plan that doesn’t automatically coordinate with Medicare during the billing process, a $20 fee will be charged for resubmitting your claim to the secondary provider.
Medicaid
We do not participate in Medicaid.
If you have any questions about insurance or payment, our team is happy to assist you.
Billing and Payments Accepted
We want to make hearing care as accessible and affordable as possible. That’s why, aside from out-of-pocket payments, we accept Advanced Care, a trusted healthcare credit card that helps you manage out-of-pocket expenses for your hearing needs.
With Advanced Care, you can get the hearing aids or services you need now and pay for them over time with monthly payments designed to fit your budget. It’s a simple and flexible way to invest in your hearing health without financial stress.
A Smart Solution for Health-Related Costs
Advanced Care is a dedicated healthcare credit card that can be used by the whole family. It offers special financing options on purchases of $200 or more. This includes hearing aids and other services that may not be covered by insurance.
Contact our office today to learn more about how to apply or to see if it’s the right option for you.
