For the most part my experience has been good with Sara and Michelle. We had a couple hiccups but they got worked out.
Julie was very detailed oriented when she adjusted my hearing aids. She is very informative and knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything. I highly recommend Julie at Flatirons Audiology.
You don't usually go to an audiology appointment to have fun, but I sure did! After a delightful conversation with Ms. Magic at the front desk, I had another engaging conversation with Dr. Julie Eschenbrenner, the audiologist. She showed me photos of her 10-day mission to Africa to give exams and hearing aids to people in need, and the big smiles on their faces as they heard the sounds of the world! Dr. Julie is a fascinating person, full of enthusiasm, refined skills, and generous desire to help people. Wait till you hear her practical solution to getting rid of wax buildup in the ears! All in all, I happily recommend Dr. Julie and Flatirons Audiology, and encouraged my roommate to set up an appointment -- it's free on the Medicare Advantage plan we both have.

Highly recommended. I was referred to Flatirons Audiology through the VA Community Care program and I feel like I’ve won the lottery. I’ve seen Dr Julie Eschenbrenner twice and both times I’ve left shaking my head wondering how I got so lucky. Dr Julie is highly competent, like many other audiologists, but her outstanding people skills set her apart. She took the time to listen to me, and asked questions to help me decide my best path forward. It was informative, collaborative, and efficient. The office is very nice and Dr Julie actually bakes cookies for the reception area each day - and they’re good! The patient care coordinator/audiology assistant, Kat, is friendly and helpful. Overall 10/10 for this practice.

My mom is a patient at Flatirons Audiology. I only have good things to say about Dr. Brooke Gilstad and her colleagues. They have been wonderful and caring. My mom received her new hearing aids through the "Hearing the Call" organization at no cost. She is very, very grateful for this gift of hearing as it has greatly improved her quality of life and of those of us around her.

I had lost a hearing aid while in the hospital. Dr. Julie did everything in her power to communicate with the patient representative to get my hearing aid covered. I was able to get replacement value for my hearing aid. I now have my new hearing aid.

I got my new hearing aids! I was wearing 7-year-old Costco hearing aids and my new ones through Hearing the Call are a big step up. The tone of everything I hear is much more pleasing and I hear sounds from further away that I didn't hear before. Even my own voice sounds better to me. Dr. Eschenbrenner and her assistant are both very kind and efficient, and they do excellent work. I moved here about a year ago and had to find a new audiologist. A friend recommended Dr. Julie, and I was so happy to find that she is really an expert. I recommend her very highly. I don't think I could find anyone better than she is.
As always (14 years now) Julie and her staff go above and beyond to make sure my hearing is the absolute best it can be. Even making a referral to another audiologist to make the most of my current insurance. Wow, who do you know that does that!!

I have been seeing Dr. Julie at Flatirons Audiology since my 12 year-old was wearing diapers. I just purchased my third set of hearing aids from her (Widex Moment). I was lucky enough to have insurance cover the first two sets of hearing aids. I was starting to have minor issues with my previous hearing aids (purchased four years ago), but they still worked fine. Dr. Julie lent me a pair of the latest Widex hearing aids a few months ago just so I could check out the latest technology. The sound was more natural with the new hearing aids, and they were overall more user-friendly. I decided to bite the bullet and pay out of pocket for the new hearing aids. Well worth it. I think the new hearing aids are more able to compensate for my hearing loss. I am a musician, and I am now hearing more complex overtones in the highest strings on a piano, And I can hear the sound of silverware briefly ringing when I place it in the silverware drawer. (My wife was able to confirm that, indeed, the silverware was ringing briefly when I placed it in the drawer.) Friendly staff and great service. Thanks, Dr. Julie and Dr. Brooke!

Flatirons Audiology: I’ve worn hearing aids for 48years. There are people you can trust and some you cannot and some just don’t have the knowledge you need to hear the best you can. Flatirons has the knowledge, the brands and software, the fine tuning, the individual teaching and the kindness it takes to do all of this!! They want you to hear the best you can.

I experienced sudden hearing loss in my right ear. Dr. Julie was able to see me unexpectedly, give me a complete hearing evaluation, and was able to schedule an immediate appointment with an ENT provider for further evaluation that same day. Her office was very professional with friendly staff who were legitimately concerned about helping me receive immediate attention for my hearing concerns. I would highly recommend her practice.

Took my 3 year old son here for a hearing Test. Dr Julie, and Magic, her receptionist, were both absolutely wonderful! So personable, so easy to talk to, and made my child feel totally at ease! I also had my baby with me, and Dr. Julie made no mind of me staying in her office (so my son could see me) juggling a baby that wanted to crawl all over the place. They also gave my son a fresh baked cookie after he completed his test! Amazing! I think my son would go get his hearing tested everyday from this place if he could!

Ok place. Too much whining about United Health care. Clearly does not want to be one of their providers. Had to pay an unexpected $250. Wanted to sell me hearing aids directly at a much higher cost than using my UHC benefits.

I felt like the option of United healthcare‘s hearing aid program was discounted as not a good option, and that United Health cares hearing aid were not good. I was proposed with their option, which was more money than I could have imagined, and very much more costly than United healthcare. I have to admit that about halfway through their presentation, I was irritated and ready to go because I was being sold! My dilemma now is that they have done my hearing exam, I doubt if I will go with them, so what are my options now? They did quote me on four of their lines of hearing aid ranging from $2000 to $5000, and each will help me hear my grandchildren, better, and a little bit more $$$$ will help me in a sports environment, etc. etc.
I have been a patient at Flatirons Audiology for many years, and their kindness, understanding, and care have been very evident. The technology they use to address hearing loss is second to none, and they keep on the cutting edge with terrific testing and calibration. And the freshly baked cookies are a nice bonus!
I am beyond delighted with Flatirons Audiology! Julie Eschenbrenner is just amazing. She's super personable, knowledgeable, fun, kind and efficient. The technology seemed state-of-the-art, and the process was all very easy to be fitted to a "T" with my new hearing aids. Julie explained how to use them very clearly and sent me home with more instructional information in case I needed it. Julie asked me specific questions about my hearing so the hearing aids would be custom-programmed for me. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and the office is clean and comfortable. I couldn't believe it - they even had homemade cookies in individual bags for the patients right on the counter! Talk about feeling at home in a doctor's office! I can't recommend this place enough. : )
