We are extremely excited to announce that we will be able to resume in-office care of our patient’s hearing healthcare needs again on Monday, April 27th, at 9:00 a.m. Governor Polis’ new “safer at home” phase has allowed for us to resume seeing our patients with strict precautions.
As we resume seeing patients, we will be calling to confirm appointments and go over a short screening questionnaire that the CDC has recommended that all patients answer before they are seen. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 please call us right away to cancel so we can protect our staff and other patients.
We are also following strict protocols in office to protect you as well as protect Dr. Julie and our team when you are visiting our office for an appointment:
- Incoming patients will be required to wear their own masks when entering the office.
- When you arrive at our building for an appointment, we will now ask that you call us from your car at 303-664-9111 so we can make sure the office is sanitized and ready for you.
- When you enter our office, you will be asked to use hand sanitizer.
- We will take your temperature as soon as you enter the office. If you have a fever, we will kindly ask you to reschedule. You can be seen as soon as you are fever free for 14 days.
We are excited to see you and we are working hard to keep you safe! Here are some other measures we’re taking to protect our patient’s health:
- Please do not worry, we will still have home baked cookies, but we have moved the cookies, coffee maker and water into our staff kitchen and will be happy to serve you!
- We will ask patients to come alone to their appointment unless you need to be accompanied by one other adult for medical reasons. You may need to be accompanied to an appointment if you have mobility issues, low vision, or issues with memory loss.
- New patients should complete paperwork/ forms at their home computers whenever possible to minimize the time in the reception area
- Tissues and no-touch trash receptacles are available throughout the office.
- Appointments will be scheduled at appropriate intervals to limit patient contact and allow time for area and equipment sanitation.
- Magazines and other items that are not easily disinfected have been removed from the reception areas and treatment rooms.
- Non-clinical areas are cleaned and disinfected throughout the day.
- Staff with symptoms of illness will not report to work.
- We will utilize curbside service procedures to keep patients in their cars whenever feasible.
- Supplies including batteries, domes, and wax filters can be mailed upon request to reduce need for face to face interactions.
We encourage you to call us and schedule your hearing test, hearing aid check or any other hearing healthcare related treatment that has been postponed. We look forward to seeing YOU!
